Read the address, not the appearance
A logo, polished design or paid search placement does not prove authorisation. Inspect the complete domain and open the service directly when uncertain.
Separate a question from permission
You can describe a problem without handing over device control or sharing a sensitive screen. Do not turn a simple question into an unclear financial authorisation.
If sensitive information was shared
Use your bank’s or account provider’s trusted support channel promptly to determine the appropriate next steps. Preserve the suspicious message without following its links.
